At City of Knowledge, our mission is rooted in a profound responsibility: to serve the legacy of Ahlul Bayt (as) and support the global community anticipating the return of Al-Qa'im (atfs).

Based in Montreal, Canada, we are a small, dedicated team of independent students of knowledge. We did not start this platform as a commercial venture, but as a humble effort to bridge the gap between seekers of truth and the invaluable treasures of classical Islamic literature, theology, and philosophy.

Funded by Passion, Driven by Purpose

We operate on a model built on sacrifice and community dedication:

• Self-Funded: City of Knowledge is completely independent and run through our own personal funds.
• Community-First Reinvestment: The vast majority of everything generated from book sales is immediately poured right back into the platform.
• Growing to Serve: Our priority is using these resources to acquire rarer text editions, expand our inventory, and lower barriers to access for advanced students and researchers worldwide.

Our Vision: From Curation to Publishing

What began as an online storefront is rapidly evolving. As students of knowledge ourselves, we understand how difficult it can be to source accurate, high-quality, and structurally verified scholarly prints in the West.

To truly bridge this gap, our ultimate goal is to move beyond sourcing books and transition into becoming active publishers. By translating, editing, and printing classical texts under our own banner, we aim to bring beautifully bound, reliable editions of masterworks directly to libraries, centers, and individual researchers across North America.
